Internationally esteemed harpist Taylor Ann Fleshman performs solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire across the U.S, Europe, and Australia. Taylor is currently based in Cincinnati where she studies with the principal harpist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Gillian Sella, at the College-Conservatory of Music. She regularly performs throughout the Tri-State area - Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana - for symphony concerts, chamber music, fundraisers, galas, weddings, corporate events, and more.

     As principal harp and assistant principal, Taylor has performed with many professional orchestras, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra for Berlioz’ Symphonie Fantastique, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for Amahl and the Night Visitors, and others. She has also performed for musicals and operas, including The Fantasticks and The Merry Widow. In addition, Taylor will be acting as principal harp with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra for the first half of their 2017-2018 season and principal harp for the Bernstein’s Opera Candide with the CCM Philharmonia Orchestra.

      Recently, Taylor won first prize and the Nippert Award in the 3 Arts Competition and received second prize in the CCM Concerto Competition. Other winnings include first prize in the College-Conservatory of Music’s Undergraduate Instrumental Competition and second prize in the Aspen Music Festival Harp Concerto Competition. She has also been chosen as one of the finalists in the Advanced Division of the American Harp Society and the Anne Adams competition.

     In addition to her Classical studies, she has worked with other musical groups in various genres, such as Evanescence, Celtic Thunder, and Music City Hit-Makers. Taylor is featured on the 2016 Naxos recording with the National Orchestral Institute and a Grammy-Considered CD with the American Youth Harp Ensemble. She is a native of Kernersville, North Carolina.
